The ministry meets on the first Sunday of each month after worship at 11:45 am.
The two adult Bible study groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9 am.
The classes meet in the rooms across from the office.
Kids' Church school ( K - 6th grade) meets after the children's sermon in worship.
The purpose of this ministry is to help people know and love God more. Through programs, events, and experiences that nurture all ages, the Faith Development ministry serves as a facilitator; encouraging a deeper understanding of Biblical teachings, and growth in Christ’s Love.
Faith Development is responsible for:
• Gathering Volunteers for FPCH Faith Development activities
• Collaboration / Communication with any paid or volunteer staff related to FD
• Promoting and encouraging participation within our congregation and our community
• Seeking out faith development opportunities within the ecumenical community
Quirky Quarters is an event for kids grades K - 6th which meets once a quarter. Past events have included a pool party and Halloween/All Saints' Day Event. A winter/Epiphany event is planned for January.
After the children's sermon during worship, children from K - 6th grade attend church school. Each month a new unit is introduced and study includes Bible reading, crafts, snacks and games.
