WORSHIP AND MUSIC
Meeting Times:
The worship and music ministry meets the 2nd Sunday of each month at 11:45 after worship.
Choir Practice is on Thursdays from 7:30-9 pm, from September - May.
A bell choir meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm. Each year cantatas are performed during the Christmas and Easter seasons as part of the worship service.
The purpose of the Ministry of Worship and Music is to make certain that all aspects of worship services - including special services such as Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve, for example-run smoothly and to ensure that those in attendance enjoy a serene and meaningful worship experience.
The Ministry of Worship and Music is responsible to :
- Arrange for Communion servers
- Obtain substitute pastors, contacting the office for their financial compensation
- Procure liturgists and ushers
- Schedule and plan special service
